1. Summary

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have regarding your personal data.

2. Information we collect Account information: name, email, profile details, role (mentor/mentee). Payment & donation data: payment tokens via third-party processors (we do not store card numbers).
Usage data: logs, IP address, device/browser data, crash reports.
Communications: messages sent through the platform; optional recordings with consent.

3. How we use personal information To provide and improve the Platform, process payments, communicate with users, detect abus e/fraud, comply with legal obligations, and for analytics and research.

4. Sharing and disclosure We share personal data with service providers (payment processors, hosting, email providers) under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA; users can opt-out of any sale or sharing where applicable.

5. Your rights (CCPA/CPRA and other jurisdictions) Depending on your jurisdiction, you have rights including access, deletion, correction, portability, and objection to processing. To exercise rights, visit Privacy Requests or contact privacy@stellaredx.org. We verify requests to protect privacy.

6. Minors The Platform is intended for users 18 and older unless otherwise noted. If we collect info rmation from children under 13 we will comply with COPPA: parental consent and limited dat a collection. To avoid COPPA complexity many platforms opt to restrict access to 18+; choose the approach that fits your mission.

7. Security We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect pers onal information. However, no system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.

8. Data retention We retain personal data as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate business purposes. Specific retention periods are documented in our internal data retention schedule.
